Art & Lisa with John Inmon will play a fine acoustic concert Saturday, May 26th, 2018, doors open at 7:00 PM.
Art and Lisa have found true harmony together in life and in music. Having
met through music in the summer of 2006, by July, 2009 they had released
their first CD "Learning To Breathe Again", Co-Produced by legendary
producers Lloyd Maines and John Inmon. With strong ORIGINAL songs from both Art Crawford and Lisa Beck, this CD is a masterpiece, and won the duo a finalist spot in the 2010 Academy Of Texas Music Awards, being chosen as one of five finalists in the duo/group category out of over 45,000 submissions.
Soon the duo, who continue writing on a regular basis, found themselves
ready to record a second album. "Healin Time" was released in January,
2011, and debuted on the Americana Roots charts at #23. Produced by friend
and mentor John Inmon, this CD brings them to new heights, and won them
their second nomination for vocal duo of the year by the Academy of Texas
In October 2012 the duo was honored in their hometown of Bandera, Texas by
being inducted into the Bandera Music History Project Hall Of Fame as
vocal duo of the year and Lisa for songwriter of the year.
John Inmon, (one of the original Lost Gonzo band members along with Jerry
Jeff Walker for 18 years, and more recently with Jimmy Lafave for 6
years), says "I believe in Art and Lisa. The quality of their writing and
music is something I want to be a part of."
Currently playing as an acoustic trio with Art and Lisa both on acoustic
guitar (or one on banjitar when the mood strikes), lead and harmony
vocals, and John Inmon playing lead on electric guitar and adding some
great harmony vocals as well. The trio have found an exciting new sound
together, and are currently planning to start recording a new CD in the
winter of 2012/2013.
