Corrina Rachel will play a fine acoustic concert on Friday, March 23rd, at 7:00 PM.
This will be a very special evening, celebrating Corrina's birthday and the upcoming release
of her band's first full-length album. This is the first full band performance in several months,
as they've been busy in the studio!
Corrina Rachel: vocals, guitar
Corrina is an Austin native who specializes in jazz and swing from the 1920s-60s. Her upcoming album, "Don't You Think It's Time", features her original jazz and a few classic standards. She also sings in Portuguese on bossa nova favorites like The Girl from Ipanema and Dindi and in French on gypsy jazz tunes like Nuages by Django Reinhardt. Her conversational tone, impressive range and signature vocal scatting make her one of Austin's premiere jazz vocalists.
